Our story began with a group of passionate supporters—parents, coaches, alumni—united by a single belief: that basketball can inspire, educate, and transform. We work hand-in-hand with Farmington High School to ensure our boys not only receive top-tier basketball training but also the mentorship and moral guidance necessary to succeed off the court. Our Programs
Creating Opportunities for Every Player
Varsity Development Program
Focused on upperclassmen, this program pushes athletic and leadership potential. Through elite training, film study, and strategic playbooks, we prepare athletes for college-level performance and responsibility.
Junior Varsity Fundamentals Program
A cornerstone for younger players, this program builds foundational skills in dribbling, shooting, and teamwork. We focus on personal growth, maturity, and learning how to be coachable on and off the court.
Off-Season Conditioning Camp
Strength doesn’t sleep in the off-season. This intensive summer program includes strength training, agility drills, and mental resilience building. Athletes return stronger, faster, and more focused.
Holiday Youth Basketball Clinics
Open to elementary and middle school boys, this community program introduces basketball fundamentals while promoting sportsmanship. It connects youth with high school players for peer mentorship.
Leadership & Life Skills Workshop
Athletes participate in workshops that cover everything from time management to financial literacy. We believe success is holistic and want our players prepared for all areas of life.
Alumni Engagement Network

What We Offer to Elevate Our Athletes
Competitive Basketball Training
Designed for growth, this program hones athletic ability through rigorous drills, conditioning, and tactical coaching. We build fundamental skills and introduce advanced techniques that align with collegiate-level play. Our certified trainers push athletes to their peak performance with a focus on safety, progression, and sports IQ.
Academic Tutoring & Support
Athletic success must be matched with academic excellence. We offer tutoring in core subjects, homework assistance, and SAT/ACT prep. Our goal is to build complete student-athletes prepared for the challenges of higher education and life beyond.
Mentorship & Leadership Development
We match every athlete with a mentor to encourage personal growth, offer guidance, and reinforce values. Through workshops and one-on-one check-ins, players learn decision-making, emotional regulation, and goal-setting techniques to thrive off the court.
Community Engagement Projects
Giving back is essential. We organize service projects—food drives, park cleanups, and youth clinics—so our athletes learn humility and the power of community impact. These projects build empathy and cultivate leaders who care.
College & Career Readiness Program
We prepare our players for life after high school with resume workshops, career exploration, and guest speakers from various industries. Players meet college scouts and receive support navigating NCAA eligibility and applications.
Family Support & Counseling Services
Understanding the challenges our families face, we offer parental support workshops and access to licensed counselors. Our holistic approach ensures both student and family are uplifted together.
Our Story
How We Became a Movement
The idea for Farmington High School Boys Basketball Backers was born out of necessity and passion. What started as a few parents volunteering to raise funds quickly evolved into a full-scale support network dedicated to the holistic development of our student-athletes. Through trials and triumphs, we became more than a booster club—we became a family. Our story is written in sweat, perseverance, late-night meetings, weekend tournaments, and thousands of shared dreams. We are proof that when a community stands behind its youth, greatness follows.

How It Works
Step 1: Enroll and Connect
Players and parents attend orientation, receive program materials, and meet their support team. From day one, expectations and aspirations are set.
Step 2: Assessment and Goal-Setting
Each athlete undergoes a skill, academic, and personal assessment. Together, we set measurable goals on and off the court.
Step 3: Personalized Training Plan
We create a development roadmap for each player that includes physical training, academic support, and leadership mentoring.
Step 4: Engagement and Participation
Athletes participate in daily practice, attend weekly workshops, and give back through community service.
Step 5: Evaluation and Feedback
Every quarter, we hold evaluations with coaches, parents, and mentors to track growth and adjust plans.
